Book a session- Teachers
Teachers can book tutoring sessions for their students from Sessions.
- Sign in to Littera.
- The Sessions page opens.
- Click +Create a Session.
- Under Programs and Sessions, enter:
- Select Program: Choose one of your courses to create tutoring sessions for.
Example: 1st Grade Language Arts. - Session Title: The specific area to cover in tutoring.
Example: Vocabulary. - Session Description: Details for the tutor and student about the session(s).
Example: Review last week’s vocab words. - Information for the Tutor: Additional information for the tutor, not visible to the student.
Example: John struggles with “t” sounds. - Click Next.
- Select Program: Choose one of your courses to create tutoring sessions for.
- Under Select Students:
- Search for and select students for tutoring.
- Click on any column heading to sort by that field.
- Click Next.
- Under Schedule:
- Select the Date and Time of the session.
Note: The same time applies to all dates selected. - Click Next.
- Select the Date and Time of the session.
- Under Assign Tutors:
- Select the session tutor(s) or choose to Auto-Match.
Note: Auto-Match reviews student and tutor availability, as well as parameters set in the program and session. For more information, contact the tutoring program manager. - If you are also a tutor in Littera, you can select yourself.
- Click Next.
- Select the session tutor(s) or choose to Auto-Match.
- Under Review:
- Confirm all information looks correct.
- To go back and edit a section, click on the section name.
- Click Finish. The tutoring session is created.
- Click Go to Dashboard to return to Sessions.
