Session Observations
In order to best support the students and districts working with Littera, a tutor may notice a session observer attending a tutoring session. Session Observers attend for several reasons, including quality assurance, curriculum or technical support, and student performance observations. A session observer may be a Littera team member or a school district staff member.
When an observer enters the Littera Virtual Classroom, you will see their video box below the student video boxes. An observer will have the same virtual classroom controls as a tutor, however observers should have their cameras and microphones off, and will only intervene when necessary. Tutors should conduct the session normally, as if the observer was not present.
- The observer can enter or leave the session at any time, but an observer cannot start or end a class.
- Tutors are expected to still submit end of session feedback, even if an observer is in the session.
- A Littera team member may share written feedback with you afterwards regarding your observed session.
