Virtual Tutor End of Year Tax Forms

For the 2024 tax year, you may receive two tax forms from Littera.

• Shared below are some possible examples of what may occur for you as tutor:

If you worked as an independent contractor tutor and conducted sessions in January to August, 2024 only:

• A tutor that earned over $600 before August 26, 2024, as an independent contractor, will be able to download their 1099 tax document within Justworks.  The forms will be available by the end of January, 2025.

If you worked as a part-time tutor and conducted sessions within July to December, 2024:

• A tutor that worked as a part-time tutor will be able to download their W-2 from their Rippling account by the end of January 2025.

Worked as a tutor throughout 2024, both as an independent contractor and as a part-time employee.

• A tutor that earned over $600 before August, 2024, as an independent contractor, will be able to download their 1099 tax document within Justworks. They will be available by the end of January, 2025.
• A tutor that worked as a part time employee after July, 2024 will be able to download their W2 from their Rippling account by the end of January 2025.
